Become a Volunteer
Having a ride to the clinic can make all the difference to a person seeking reproductive healthcare. You can make that difference! Fill out the volunteer application, and our training coordinator will be in touch to set up an interview.
There are many ways to volunteer for CASN. We're looking for passionate folks who can answer our hotline, recruit volunteers, write grants, organize events, fundraise, and of course, drive!

How to become a volunteer:
Apply and interview.
Fill out the volunteer application and schedule an interview with CASN staff. We'll ask questions about your availability, your thoughts on abortion, and why you're interested in volunteering. Then we'll decide if we're a good fit for each other.
Pass a reference and background check.
CASN completes extensive background and reference checks before a volunteer ever interacts with a caller. Be prepared to provide references that can vouch for your opinions on abortion.
Complete training.
CASN requires all volunteers to complete our extensive training. Topics include abortion law in Texas, racial justice, abortion clinic rules and expectations, creating "safe spaces" for those seeking care, and digital security.
Drive!
After you've completed these steps, you're ready to get behind the wheel - good job!
